SearchBoost provides specialized intellectual property, professional labor, and strategic consulting services. Unlike physical commodities or off-the-shelf software products that can be returned in their original condition, our digital marketing and SEO services involve the immediate deployment of human capital, analytical expertise, strategic planning, and proprietary methodologies. Once labor has been expended, research conducted, content created, and strategic recommendations formulated, this intellectual work cannot be physically returned to SearchBoost or recovered by the Agency.
This fundamental distinction between professional services and tangible products forms the legal and ethical foundation for our refund policy. Clients must understand that they are purchasing professional time, expertise, and strategic guidance—not a physical product.
The following situations do NOT qualify for financial reimbursement under any circumstances, regardless of Client satisfaction or perceived value:

Clients operating under monthly retainer agreements must follow a strict cancellation protocol to ensure proper offboarding and knowledge transfer:
A mandatory 30-day written notice of termination is required. This notice must be submitted electronically to support@searchboost.online with the subject line "Retainer Cancellation Notice: [Client Company Name]".
The Client remains legally and financially responsible for the entire final 30-day operational period following the notice submission. No pro-rated refunds are issued for mid-month cancellations. The Agency will continue executing all contracted services, publishing content, and generating reports through the conclusion of the final paid billing cycle.
During the final 30-day period, SearchBoost will prepare comprehensive documentation of all work performed, provide access to all created assets, and conduct a final strategy review meeting to ensure smooth transition if the Client engages another agency.
For discrete, one-time projects (audits, technical fixes, strategy documents), the following refund framework applies:
SearchBoost strongly encourages Clients to attempt resolution of any financial or service delivery disputes directly with our management team before pursuing external remedies. This collaborative approach often resolves misunderstandings quickly.

Clients retain the right to file disputes through their payment processors or financial institutions. However, SearchBoost will vigorously contest any chargeback filed for non-refundable services (as outlined in Section 2) using all available contractual documentation, email communications, delivery confirmations, and service records. Fraudulent chargebacks filed without legitimate cause may result in the Client being blacklisted from future services.
If you believe your situation qualifies for a refund under the "Eligible for Review" criteria outlined in Section 2, you must follow this formal procedure:
SearchBoost recognizes that exceptional circumstances may occasionally warrant consideration outside the standard refund framework. However, any exceptions to this policy are granted solely at the discretion of SearchBoost's executive management and are not guaranteed. Requests for exceptions must be submitted in writing with comprehensive justification.
SearchBoost reserves the right to modify this Comprehensive Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to this page. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document indicates when the policy was most recently revised. Clients are responsible for reviewing this policy periodically to remain informed of any modifications.
